What’s been happening:

Pep Persio is the Senior Policy Advisor for Recreation Programs with Headquarters, USA Corps of Engineers in Washington, DC. He provides direction and guidance from a national perspective to the field for the Corps' comprehensive recreation program. Pep is responsible for the development, review, defense and execution of Corps' $300 million recreation business line operating budget. His career with the Corps includes assignments as a Park Ranger, Park Manager, Outdoor Recreation Planner and Operations Project Manager. Pep recently spent 3 years in the Corps Europe District as a Regional Program Manager, military construction. Prior to his Corps career, he worked 6 years as a Community Recreation Director with Baltimore County Maryland Department of Recreation and Parks. Pep is a 1974 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Parks Management.
